I finally met this mother of two and photographer herself in real life after both participating in a year long photography course/challenge together. All momtogs can relate, we are rarely in front of the camera and typically most comfortable there. I applauded Rebecca when she contacted me telling me she has plenty of photographs of her kids, but would really love to be in them doing activities they love as a family in a documentary session in their home. It was so much fun spending the morning with them and their love of all things legos!
I have two little ones of my own, but growing up an only child I had no idea what it was like to be apart of a sibling relationship. These two boys were so much fun! They were textbook brothers, the older child was sweet, thoughtful and protective; the baby of the family was adorably wild and always the entertainer! I loved every minute with them! Well done, mama!
Last year I got in front of the camera for a Motherhood Mini Session and absolutely loved the images. I realized I had to do these for other moms. Family portraits are a necessity but mom and her kids focusing on each other with cuddles and laughs is something to treasure. Mark your calendars for next year, you don't want to miss these again! My heart was bursting!
Lifestyle newborn sessions are my favorite for newborns! I come to your home and photograph you and the family as they are. They have a connected, relaxed feel and allow you document this special time in your lives! For the Miller family, it allowed big sister Lauren to take breaks while Emma was the focus, but when Emma was hungry, Lauren showed off her adorable bedroom!
Cake smash sessions are so much fun! Watching those little ones dive into a cake and sometimes experiencing new tastes and textures can produce the best expressions. Miss Q loved her cake and at it too!
Family sessions in studio can provide a completely different look if you feel like you have grown tired of the fall outdoor session look each year. These can start with a cozy snuggle session on a bed and end with the playful games that you love about your outdoor portraits.
